European Commission clarifies role in Board of Peace meeting
European Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica took part in first meeting of the Board of Peace in Washington on behalf of the European Commission.
The Commission had received an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to attend the meeting, CE Report quotes STA.
Officials in Brussels said this in response to criticism from several member states over the commissioner’s participation.
