Poland pledges continued support for Moldova, says President Nawrocki
Poland has consistently supported the Republic of Moldova in various areas, and this will not change. This message was conveyed by the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, who met in Warsaw with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
Karol Nawrocki noted that the meeting with Maia Sandu is evidence of the good relations between the two states.
“We discussed the past, but we are thinking about our future around the ideas that unite both nations – sovereignty, independence, and the path of Western civilization. Poland consistently offers support to the Republic of Moldova in many sectors, and this will not change,” Karol Nawrocki wrote on X.
President Maia Sandu is on an official visit to the Republic of Poland from January 25–26, at the invitation of President Karol Nawrocki. During the visit, she will meet with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the Marshal of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, and the Marshal of the Sejm of Poland, Włodzimierz Czarzasty.
In a press conference, Maia Sandu emphasized that Poland has supported the Republic of Moldova not only as a friend but also as a partner in building resilience – a practical resilience that protects citizens and sovereignty.
