Trump Reconsiders Using Personal Resort for International Summit

Politics

Donald Trump tries again: according to Bloomberg and CNN, the tycoon is discussing plans to host the 2026 G20 summit, under the U.S. presidency, at his Doral golf club near Miami.

The idea has been under discussion for weeks, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Earlier, the network had already spotted an aide holding a sign reading “G20 Miami 2026” inside the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in June.

Trump had planned to host the 2020 G7 summit at the same resort during his first term but eventually changed his mind after a wave of outrage over the decision to use one of his properties, which raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest.
