Grosu Joins Ukraine Solidarity Walkout

Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu joined other parliamentary leaders in walking out of the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva when Russian Federation Speaker Valentina Matvienko began her speech, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

“This was an act of solidarity with Ukraine,” Grosu said, reaffirming Moldova’s continued support for Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion. He emphasized Moldova’s commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and democratic values.

Grosu also reiterated Moldova’s dedication to European integration and thanked partner states for their consistent support.
