
Greece, Libya Renew Ties
Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis concluded a round of diplomatic contacts in Libya, visiting Benghazi last week and Tripoli on Tuesday, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia
Speaking to ERT, Gerapetritis said the meetings with Libya’s Presidential Council president, prime minister, and foreign minister were “highly productive.” Discussions focused on migration, bilateral trade, and the delimitation of maritime zones.
He emphasized that a “strong, unified, and independent Libya in cooperation with Greece” is vital for regional stability and prosperity.
