Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis announced at the OT 5th Forum that the High Cooperation Council between Greece and Türkiye will convene this summer. He added that discussions will continue on the sidelines of the NATO Foreign Ministers' meeting in Antalya, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Gerapetritis highlighted the importance of ongoing crisis-prevention dialogue and noted a significant rise in bilateral trade, with both nations aiming to double it. He emphasized the positive agenda between Greece and Türkiye, driven by economic cooperation and people-to-people diplomacy.

On energy matters, Gerapetritis said the Greece–Cyprus electricity interconnection boosts Cyprus' energy security and noted Greece’s growing role as a regional and European energy hub over the past six years.
