In a social media post, Hatzidakis shared a Eurostat chart showing Greece's success, asserting that this reduction forms the foundation for future economic growth. He challenged critics who might prefer high debt and deficits, reaffirming that avoiding such financial pitfalls is key to Greece’s progress.

Hatzidakis also credited Greece's economic growth to key reforms, such as efforts to curb tax evasion and the introduction of the Digital Work Card. He emphasized that these measures contributed to both debt reduction and the surplus used to fund social dividends for tenants and low-income pensioners.
