Trump Announces Key Nominations and Endorsement, Highlighting ‘America First’ Agenda

President-elect Donald Trump revealed several key appointments and an endorsement on Monday, signaling his dedication to advancing his America First policies in his upcoming term, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Trump announced the return of Mark Paoletta as General Counsel for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), praising him as a "brilliant and tenacious lawyer." Paoletta, a key figure during Trump’s first term, was noted for securing funding for the southern border wall and addressing government spending. Trump emphasized that Paoletta would collaborate with the Department of Government Efficiency to reduce bureaucracy and eliminate wasteful spending.

Harmeet Dhillon was nominated for Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the Department of Justice. Trump highlighted Dhillon’s work against "Big Tech censorship" and her efforts to oppose restrictive pandemic mandates. He called her a “tireless defender” of constitutional rights, committed to enforcing civil rights and election laws fairly.

Additionally, Trump endorsed KC Crosbie to replace Lara Trump as co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC). He praised Lara for transforming the RNC and expressed confidence in Crosbie’s ability to advance the MAGA agenda, prioritizing election integrity and the effectiveness of the party.

These moves underscore Trump’s focus on bolstering his administration with loyal allies to support his policy goals.
