Mark Rutte: Romania not only strengthens security of NATO's Eastern Flank, but also beyond

The Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, thanked Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu for Romania's numerous contributions to the Alliance, during the 20 years of NATO membership, emphasizing, among other things, that our country invests over 2% of GDP in defense and hosts a NATO multinational battle group, CE Report quotes Agerpres

The Secretary General of NATO met, on Monday, at the headquarters of the Alliance in Brussels, with the Romanian Prime Minister, the meeting being followed by joint press statements.

Rutte also highlighted the fact that Romania contributes troops to NATO missions in Kosovo, Iraq and other places.
