President Sakellaropoulou meets visiting Governor General of Australia, David Hurley

President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Tuesday had a meeting with the Governor General of Australia David Hurley, who is on an official visit to Greece at her invitation. Cereport reports citing Athens-Macedonian

Their meeting focused on the steadfast bonds of friendship and cooperation between Greece and Australia and the margins for enhancing bilateral relations between the Greek and Australian governments.
Welcoming Hurley to Greece, President Sakellaropoulou expressed her conviction that his presence will help further improve bilateral relations and emphasised the two countries' shared respect for freedom, democracy and international law, with emphasis on the law of the sea, saying it was "the foundation on which our relations are based".
