Tusk Stands Firm Amid Tensions

Poland

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Saturday he would complete his mission despite the political challenges, writing on X: “It obviously requires courage and loyalty. Despite the difficulties you're aware of, I will complete this task.”

His statement followed Friday's meeting with coalition partners Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz (Polish People’s Party), Szymon Holownia (Poland 2050), and Wlodzimierz Czarzasty (New Left) to discuss a potential government reshuffle, CE Report quotes PAP

Meanwhile, media reports stirred controversy by claiming that Holownia met with MEP Adam Bielan of the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party on Thursday. PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski was also seen at the same location later that day.

Holownia denied the rumors, calling the media reaction unjustified. “I firmly believe that politicians from different sides should talk. Otherwise, we’ll end up killing one another,” he posted on X.
