A pyeloplasty and a partial nephrectomy were performed at the University Clinic of Urology, Dialysis, and Renal Transplantation under the coordination of Dr. Ion Dragomiristeanu from the Theodor Burghele Clinical Hospital in Bucharest, alongside Moldovan colleagues. The procedures served as hands-on training for resident physicians.
During the visit, Dr. Dragomiristeanu met with the hospital's leadership and officials from Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy to discuss expanding inter-institutional cooperation and joint training efforts. Both sides stressed the importance of integrating academic and clinical work to modernize medical care.
