Five arrested in Germany over planned Christmas market attack
German authorities have announced the arrest of five men suspected of planning an Islamist-inspired vehicle attack targeting a Christmas market, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Police and prosecutors said the suspects include three Moroccan citizens, one Egyptian, and one Syrian.
The alleged plan was to be carried out in Bavaria, in southern Germany.
