Unit 1 of the CNE Cernavoda nuclear-power plant was resynchronised to Romania's electricity grid on Sunday and on Monday it is scheduled to operate at nominal power, according to the Energy Ministry. CE Report quoting Agerpres

"We are in permanent contact at the level of the Winter Energy Command with all those involved in solving the challenges that have arisen at the level of the national grid as a result of the extreme meteorological phenomena in the south-eastern parts of Romania.
