Bulgarian Craft Beer Festival opens in Sofia
The 4th Bulgarian Craft Beer Festival "Ulica Hmel" (Hops Street) opened on Friday and will take place until October 4 at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, the organizers said.
The festival will bring together 20 local breweries, with visitors having the possibility to sample traditional and modern beer styles and meet the brewers. Admission is free, as the festival will also offer food from more than 30 small Bulgarian producers, artisans, chefs, and social organizations, CE Report quotes BTA.
The festival also features an arts and crafts area, live music, a home-brewing demonstration, and a workshop focused on agricultural biodiversity.
The festival is organized by Hrankoop Cooperative and Kazan Artisan Brewery as part of Sofia Farmers’ Festival 2026 and Sofia Municipality’s cultural events calendar.
