Eurovision unveils hosts for 2026 contest
Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski will host the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna in May, the public broadcaster ORF announced.
This year’s contest will feature 35 countries, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Spain, Iceland, Ireland, Slovenia, and the Netherlands have decided to boycott the event after a proposal to exclude Israel over the war in the Gaza Strip was rejected.
Vienna will host the world’s largest music contest for the third time, having previously done so in 1967 and 2015.
32-year-old Victoria Swarovski – heiress of the Swarovski crystal house – has been presenting the television dance competition Let’s Dance on German TV in recent years.
53-year-old Michael Ostrowski is an actor and screenwriter.
