Popular U.S actor passes away
The American actor James Ransone has died at the age of 46. He was best known for his role as Ziggy Sobotka, a troubled dockworker and small-time drug dealer, in the acclaimed HBO crime series The Wire.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, Ransone died by suicide. No further details were released, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Often cast as intense, damaged, or emotionally complex characters, Ransone built a steady career as a character actor in both television and film. In addition to The Wire, he appeared in a wide range of projects, including the horror films It: Chapter Two and The Black Phone.
