Award-winning director highlights civilian tragedy in Gaza

The official trailer for the award-winning film The Voice of Hind Rajab, written and directed by two-time Oscar nominee Kaouther Ben Hania, has been released by Willa.

The film tells the tragic story of 6-year-old Hind Rajab, who was killed by Israeli forces in Gaza on the morning of January 29, 2024, along with six members of her family, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

Hind and her family were trying to escape when the car they were in came under fire, resulting in the deaths of her uncle, aunt, and three cousins. Hind and her 15-year-old cousin, Layan, initially survived and called the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) for help.

Later, the car was found with the girl inside, and the rescuers who had reached her were discovered dead.
