Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Infinity Castle confirms itself as the U.S. box office champion this weekend: after its record debut of $70 million, it adds another $17.3 million (-77%), enough to maintain the lead — as reported by Variety — and becomes the highest-grossing anime of all time worldwide, with over $555 million.

In second place is Him, the psychological horror by Justin Tipping produced by Universal and Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw, with an estimated $13.5 million, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Rounding out the top five are The Conjuring: The Final Rite, in its third weekend, with $12.1 million; The Long Walk, based on the Stephen King novel, with $6.3 million; and Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, with $6 million.

Meanwhile, the romantic fantasy starring Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, disappointed with just $3.5 million, placing only sixth.
