Lady Gaga abruptly cancels Miami show

Lady Gaga was set to perform on September 3 as part of her Mayhem Ball Tour at the Kaseya Center. During rehearsals the day before and again during the warm-up before the show, she realized her voice was strained, CE Report quotes ANSA.

“Hi everyone,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m really sorry, but I have to postpone tonight’s concert in Miami… both my doctor and my vocal coach advised me not to perform to avoid any risks.” She added that, although it was a painful decision, she cannot risk permanent damage to her vocal cords, especially since she performs live every night. “I hope you can forgive me,” she concluded, “and please accept my sincerest apologies.”

The organizers announced that the Miami stop will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is also expected overseas and will perform in Italy in Milan on October 19 and 20.
