Culture

Guitar legends Joe Satriani and Steve Vai will perform in Bucharest on July 23 at the Roman Arenas as part of their Surfing with the Hydra 2025 European tour, CE Report quotes AGERPRES

The newly formed SatchVai Band features an all-star lineup, including drummer Kenny Aronoff, bassist Marco Mendoza, and guitarist Pete Thorn. After decades of collaboration and nearly 50 years of individual careers, Satriani and Vai officially launched their joint band following a successful U.S. tour in spring 2024.

Their first co-written track, The Sea of Emotion, Part 1, debuted in March 2024, with more music on the way. The two guitar icons first connected when Satriani taught Vai, and their creative partnership has grown ever since, including past performances in the G3 project.
