A Bulgarian delegation participated in the 27th meeting of the Committee for Environmental Protection held in Milan, Italy, on Monday, the National Center for Polar Studies at Sofia University announced. The meeting addressed key issues concerning biodiversity, scientific cooperation, protected areas, cultural heritage, and the impact of climate change on Antarctica, CE Report quotes BTA

The delegation included Silvia Rangelova from the Ministry of Environment and Water, Dr. Rositsa Yaneva, Prof. Christo Pimpirev, and Dragomir Mateev from the National Center for Polar Studies.
