University of Economics Students Present Ideas

Students from the University of Economics in Varna showcased innovative ideas at a hackathon organized by BTA on Tuesday. Part of BTA's Europe on Balkans: Cohesion Skills project, supported by the European Commission, the event focused on digitalization and the green transition challenges faced by managers. The student teams developed tools to help low-tech companies lead in these areas, with attention to social aspects, CE Report quotes BTA

The jury highlighted two standout ideas: a platform for training older adults and one for training tourism personnel. BTA Director Kiril Valchev praised the participants and encouraged them to pursue their entrepreneurial ideas in Bulgaria. He also shared insights on BTA's role in connecting local and global news.

The Cohesion Skills project aims to raise awareness of EU cohesion policies and will continue with conferences across various cities in Bulgaria and neighboring countries until 2025.
