Sarajevo air quality index shows pollution in some areas
Based on measurements by the Public Health Institute of Sarajevo Canton, air quality levels show persistent differences across locations.
While the automatic station at Vijećnica is in the “good” category, other locations report slightly higher index values, indicating moderate air quality or pollution at the Novi Grad municipality (Saraj Polje and Otoka) and Centar (Bjelave), CE Report quotes FENA.
This morning, the Air Quality Index values at Saraj Polje (Novi Grad), Otoka (Novi Grad), and Bjelave (Centar) were in the polluted range.
As reported by CE Report, Bosnia reports a sharp contrast in air quality.
