IMF announces major support package to countries affected by Middle East war
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will provide up to $50 billion in assistance to countries affected by the Middle East war, its Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said.
She made the statement ahead of the meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of IMF and World Bank member states, which is set to begin next week, CE Report quotes STA.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will also allocate €5 billion in aid.
