Applications for the new “Business Grant Program for the Hiring of 10,000 Unemployed Women, with Emphasis on Mothers of Minor Children” open in Greece on 16 January 2026, at 10:00.

The program, with a total budget of €101,813,625, is funded by the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and aims primarily to strengthen female employment, as well as to facilitate the reconciliation of family and professional life, responding to the real needs of women in today’s labor market, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

As part of the program, 10,000 new jobs will be created, including 5,000 full-time positions and 5,000 part-time positions, in order to provide substantial flexibility for women—particularly mothers of minor children—who are unable or do not wish to work full-time at this stage.

According to an official announcement, beneficiaries of the program are women registered in the DYPA digital registry, with or without children, with an emphasis on mothers with at least one minor child up to 15 years old.

Eligible employers are private companies and other organizations engaged in regular economic activity.

The grant lasts for 12 months, with the possibility of extension for an additional three months.

For unemployed women registered in the DYPA digital registry for up to 12 months, the grant covers 70% of the monthly wage and non-wage costs, with a maximum of €879.20 per month.

For long-term unemployed women and/or mothers of minor children up to 15 years old, the grant rate increases to 80%, with a maximum of €1,004.80 per month.

For part-time employment, the grant covers 80% of the monthly wage and non-wage costs for all categories of eligible women, with a maximum of €680 per month.
