“A remarkable adventure that amazed citizens across the five continents, who got to know—through the Amerigo Vespucci—the excellence and quality of Italian products, and the attractiveness of our country, which has increasingly become a destination for foreign investments.”

This was stated by Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, during a visit to the Amerigo Vespucci in Civitavecchia, the 16th stop of the Mediterranean tour, CE Report quotes ANSA.

“In 2024, we surpassed Japan and South Korea, reaching 4th place worldwide as an exporting country after China, the United States, and Germany,” he added.

“Our country is also increasingly attractive to foreign tourists, and the Amerigo Vespucci has certainly helped showcase—through its world tour—how Italy today is itself an icon for people around the globe.”
