Tahov highlighted the importance of preserving effective CAP instruments, such as direct payments and coupled support, and pushing for equalized direct payment levels across EU Member States. He also urged for balanced environmental and economic policies to protect farmers, especially small ones, from excessive financial burdens.

Tahov further stressed the need for better protection against global competition and cheap imports, advocating for modern risk management tools to increase farmer confidence. Lastly, Bulgaria supported continued efforts toward achieving sustainability goals under the Common Fisheries Policy, noting the importance of strong political commitment from Black Sea nations.
