The United States and the United Kingdom are expected to announce a deal to cut tariffs today, the BBC reports, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The UK government has been seeking a deal to lower tariffs since US President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on almost every country in the world last month.

President Trump appeared to allude to the deal when he posted on social media Wednesday evening:

"Big press conference tomorrow at 10:00 AM, Oval Office, regarding a major trade deal with representatives of a great and highly respected country. The first of many!!!"
