Chisinau International Airport Updates on Catering and Business Lounge Expansion

Chisinau International Airport (AIC) has provided updates on recent developments in its public catering network and Business Lounge services, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

AIC is working to diversify its menu and improve service conditions while maintaining stable prices. Since the beginning of this month, catering sales have reached approximately 1.8 million lei, with revenues supporting airport modernization and terminal reconstruction projects.

Regarding the Business Lounge, efforts are underway to enhance access options, including negotiations to integrate Lounge Key services. AIC emphasized that despite a short transition period, it is focused on optimizing services efficiently.

As of March 1, 2025, all commercial spaces at the airport are managed directly by the enterprise. Since returning to state administration in 2024, Chisinau Airport has reported a profit of 336 million lei and is expected to contribute 105.6 million lei to the public budget.
