Santorini Returns to Normalcy, Says Greek Tourism Minister

Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni announced that Santorini is "returning to normalcy" following a decline in seismic activity. Speaking at ITB Berlin 2025, she told Euronews, DPA, FVW, and Greek correspondents that recent data confirm a noticeable drop in activity, with life on the island gradually stabilizing, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

"Our top priority remains the safety of residents and visitors," Kefalogianni emphasized.

She also highlighted Greece’s strong tourism performance in 2023 and 2024 and expressed optimism for 2025, citing positive discussions with international tourism agencies and airlines.
