Greece and South Korea Strengthen Tourism Ties

Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni met with South Korean Ambassador to Greece, Ju-seong Lim, on Tuesday to discuss boosting tourism cooperation. Their talks focused on promoting lesser-known Greek destinations and expanding travel opportunities between the two countries, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Ambassador Lim highlighted Greece’s popularity among South Korean travelers, even during off-peak months, crediting TV shows for showcasing the country’s beauty. Both officials stressed the need for direct flights to enhance tourism and trade relations.

Lim invited Kefalogianni to Seoul for a tourism exhibition in May, where they plan to sign a memorandum of understanding to solidify their partnership.
