Recean engaged with Siemens Energy and DTEK representatives to advance projects aimed at modernizing Moldova's energy infrastructure and expanding renewable energy production. “We aim to invest in technologies that improve energy efficiency and security, reducing costs in both industrial and residential sectors,” said Recean. Siemens Energy is currently constructing a power station in Moldova as part of the 400 kV Vulcanesti-Chisinau power line project. The prime minister emphasized the importance of completing the project by the end of the year.

Discussions with Swiss companies, including Holcim, Workfashion, and Swiss Textiles, focused on Moldova's investment benefits, such as Moldova IT Park and opportunities provided by the Free Trade Agreement with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA).

Prime Minister Recean leads Moldova’s delegation at the 55th edition of the World Economic Forum, themed “Collaboration for an Intelligent Age,” held on January 22-23. The forum gathers nearly 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries, including 60 heads of state and government. Moldova's delegation also includes Economic Development Minister Dumitru Alaiba and Investments Agency head Natalia Bejan.
