Romania's accession to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is the most important country project Romania has at the moment, says Finance Minister Adrian Caciu. Cereport reports citing Agerpres

"What I think should be pointed out, and I will try to touch on the benefits, is that Romania's accession to the OECD is not for the Romanian state or only for the Romanian state, it is primarily for the economy. It cannot be achieved without a real partnership between the economy and the state and citizens and it cannot be achieved without reforms, including in the economic area. This is sometimes scary, because we are used to talking about institutional reforms that are strictly necessary for Romania and that we have already included in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan," said Caciu, at the conference "Romania in the OECD: towards the Club of Good International Economic Practices."
