Police boost evacuation in Ukraine's industrial city

War in Ukraine

In Kostiantynivka, about 13,000 residents are remaining, so the police have increased the number of White Angel crews for their evacuation.

The National Police of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

Over the past week, Russia has launched 108 strikes on the town, resulting in 16 civilians killed and 38 injured.

To rescue people, the police have taken additional security measures, including deploying additional White Angel crews, paramedics, and mobile checkpoints. The police are also preventing crowds from gathering and continue to ensure the enforcement of the curfew.

Around 13,000 residents remain in the town.

Due to the worsening situation and relentless shelling, authorities are urging citizens to evacuate and not to enter the community.
