About 1,000 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops were recorded on the front lines in the past week.

Andrii Kovaliov, spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on Ukrainian television, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"Last week, Russian terrorists launched 20 missile strikes, using 46 missiles, and 334 airstrikes, using 498 guided aerial bombs, across Ukraine. They carried out more than 25,000 attacks, including about 660 using multiple rocket launchers," Kovaliov said.

He said that in the Kharkiv sector, Russian invaders carried out 30 attacks last week near Hlyboke, Lyptsi, and Vovchansk. According to him, Ukrainian forces stopped the enemy's offensive.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 105 enemy attacks last week outside Senkivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Berestove, and Stepova-Novoselivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka and Andriivka in the Luhansk region.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 89 enemy attacks last week near Druzheliubivka in the Kharkiv region, Hrekivka and Serebrianske Forestry in the Luhansk region, and Terny and Torske in the Donetsk region.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 71 attacks last week outside Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka, Spirne and Rozdolivka, Donetsk region.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 111 enemy attacks last week near Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Novyi, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Bohdanivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 31 unsuccessful attacks last week outside Shumy, Niu-York and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk y sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 322 attacks last week near Kalynove, Yevhenivka, Pokrovske, Novooleksandrivka, Sokil, Umanske, Novoselivka Persha, Prohres, Horlivka, Nevelske, Yasnobrodivka, and Netailove, Donetsk region.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian forces continued to hold off the enemy outside Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Heorhiivka, Pobieda, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka, where the enemy tried to break through Ukrainian defenses 96 times during the past week.

In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 40 attacks last week near Urozhaine, Vodiane, and Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region.

Last week, Russian invaders attacked the positions of Ukrainian soldiers 19 times near Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia region, in the Orikhiv sector.

In the Dnipro River sector, the Russian military attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units from bridgeheads on the east bank of the river. Last week, Russian invaders launched 42 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops near Krynky, Kherson region.
