Greek airline launches new direct Athens-Berlin flights
The new direct Athens-Berlin route, with four weekly flights (Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday), was launched by Greek airline SKY express.
After Munich, Frankfurt, and Düsseldorf, with Hamburg to be added soon, the German capital becomes another strategic European destination, strengthening the company’s presence in the German market, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
SKY express’s new direct route is operated with Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo aircraft.
“With this new connection, SKY express now serves 27 international destinations, confirming its steady focus on strategically important markets that enhance the country’s extroversion and attractiveness as a tourist destination throughout the year,” the airline said in a statement.
By the end of 2025, the company’s flight schedule will be further expanded with new direct connections from Athens to Lisbon, Madrid, Hamburg, Lyon, and Tel Aviv, as well as new routes between Thessaloniki and Düsseldorf, and Heraklion and Tirana.
