Ljubljana among Europe’s most peaceful city breaks

Ljubljana ranks among the top ten peaceful city breaks in Europe according to a survey by the Bounce Luggage Storage. It placed fourth, behind Utrecht, Vilnius and Vienna.

The survey takes into account a number of factors including noise and light pollution, cleanliness, green areas and population density, CE Report quotes STA.

The Slovenian capital performed best in the category assessing cleanliness and tidiness in parks, but the top three cities in the ranking did better when it came to noise pollution and the shares of top-rated accommodation and accommodation providing a swimming pool or wellness facilities, the marketing agency Digitaloft said.

Other cities that made it to the top ten peaceful getaways are Olomouc, Tallinn, Valencia, Brasov, Reykjavik and Luxembourg.
