Pogradec (Albania), one of the most popular destinations in every season for both local and foreign visitors, will officially open the summer season on May 31.

Throughout the weekend, the city will host a series of cultural, sports, and musical events, CE Report quotes ATA.

The National Tourism Agency invites citizens to join this celebration.

"On May 31, when the sun rises over the lake, Pogradec will awaken in celebration. The opening of the tourist season by the lake invites you to enjoy yourself, where the breeze will carry the aroma of traditional dishes and the air will be filled with joyful music," emphasizes the NTA.

During the day, citizens and tourists will take part in water sports, exhibitions, and traditional fairs.

In the evening, concerts will be held featuring artists such as Eli Fara, Mimoza Shaholli, Rajmond Gusho, Sardi Struga, Wizzi DJ, the Vlora Parodists, and others.

Located opposite Ohrid and Struga, 39 km from Korçë, on the shores of Lake Ohrid and at the foot of Mali i Thatë, the city of Pogradec is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the country, welcoming visitors year-round.

The most visited areas remain Prespa, Driloni, Tushemisht, and of course the Lake Ohrid itself, a unique natural, climatic, relaxing, and inspiring gem.

Pogradec and its surroundings have now transformed into a tourist destination, where in addition to investments in infrastructure, priority is being given to investments in guesthouses, hotel accommodation centers, and tourism businesses that are responding to the growing demand from both foreign and domestic tourists—an ever-attractive destination for its nature, culture, and history that give it grandeur.
