WizzAir adds North Macedonia-Cyprus direct connection

Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski announced that flights from Ohrid Airport to Basel will begin in October, CE Report quotes MIA.

"The Basel-Ohrid flight route will begin operations four months ahead of schedule. The European Airport, located at the intersection of Switzerland, Germany, and France near Basel, Mulhouse, and Freiburg, is a key gateway expected to boost tourism and make travel easier for the Macedonian diaspora. WizzAir confirmed that tickets for the new Ohrid–Basel flight are already on sale. The first flight under the new subsidized airline program is scheduled for October 27," Nikoloski posted on Facebook.

Minister of Transport, Aleksandar Nikoloski, has announced on Saturday that as of October 31, a new flight route from Skopje International Airport to Larnaca, Cyprus, will be launched.
