Almost all Italian children have smartphones by age 12, survey shows
Almost half of Italian parents, 46.4%, allow their children to use a smartphone by the age of 10.
This is according to a report on parenthood released by research institute Censis, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The survey said that 68.4% let them have a smartphone by age 11, and almost all, 90.4%, have one by the age of 12.
The report said 67.3% of parents say they are optimistic about their children's future, while only 16.7% are pessimistic.
