New Croatian dictionary launched for non-native speakers

The Zagreb Institute for the Croatian Language has published "Rječnik hrvatskoga jezika za nasljedne i neizvorne govornike" (Croatian Dictionary for Heritage and Non-Native Speakers) by Lana Hudeček, Milica Mihaljević and Dinka Pasini.

Based on the Croatian online dictionary Mrežnik's modules for learners, the dictionary adapts and expands about 1,000 entries from textbooks used at Croaticum, the Centre for Croatian as a Second and Foreign Language, CE Report quotes HINA.

It features grammar tips, usage notes, and practical guidance for learners, while online supplements include pronunciation clips, images, and interactive exercises.
