Greek long jump athlete wins gold at European Athletics Championships
Greek long jump athlete Miltos Tentoglou won gold at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
He secured victory with an 8.44-metre jump on his fourth and final attempt, after earlier jumps ranging between 8.19 and 8.44 metres, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Tentoglou adds his fourth gold medal at successive European championships, securing a position as the top European long jump athlete of all time.
His 8.44 jump that led to gold was followed by Simon Ehammer's 8.29 (Switzerland) and Bozhidar Saraboyukov's 8.26 (Bulgaria).
