Bulgaria’s oldest regatta returns to Lake Varna
The oldest Bulgarian regatta, The Third of March, will be held for the 70th time from March 1 to 3 at Lake Varna, the organizers said on Wednesday.
The competition is dedicated to the anniversary of the Liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule and traditionally attracts sailing crews from across Bulgaria, competing with Yal-6 rowing-sailing boats, CE Report quotes BTA.
The organizers of the event are the Black Sea Breeze Sports Club and the Friends of the Sea Marine Club - Varna, with the financial support of the Sports Directorate of Varna Municipality.
