Red Bull's Max Verstappen takes Qatar Grand Prix win

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen triumphed in race for the Qatar Grand Prix.

This is Verstappen’s 70th career victory, and with the new 25 points he has moved up to second place in the overall standings, CE Report quotes MIA.

It was the seventh win of the season for the world champion, and his title rivals Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris also have seven wins each.

On the podium – second place went to McLaren’s Piastri, while Carlos Sainz of Williams finished third.

The leader in the overall standings, Lando Norris, finished fourth after overtaking Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli on the final lap.

Norris leads the championship with 408 points, ahead of Verstappen with 396 and Piastri with 392.

The world champion will be decided at the final race in Abu Dhabi, which will take place next weekend on December 7.
