Women’s EuroCup: Greece's Athinaikos beat French Charnay
Bulgarian international Borislava Hristova and her Greek team Athinaikos defeated French side Charnay 75–69 on the road in the fourth round of Group J in the FIBA Women’s EuroCup.
The win was Athinaikos’ second in a row and third overall, placing them at the top of the group standings, CE Report quotes BTA.
Hristova contributed 5 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist in 16 minutes of play for the Greek visitors.
Athinaikos led 46–34 at halftime and maintained control through the third quarter, entering the final period up 61–50.
Next, the Greek side will host Turkey’s Beşiktaş on November 5 in their next EuroCup matchup, after facing Panserraikos in domestic league action.
