AC Milan & Inter set to build new stadiums

The decision came after a marathon session marked by high tensions and protests both inside and outside the chamber.

The vote result was 24 in favor, 20 against, and 2 abstentions, with the abstention of Forza Italia councillors playing a decisive role.

The total planned investment for the project exceeds €1.2 billion, including the construction of new stadiums and the urban regeneration of the area.

This decision opens the door to a new era for Milanese football, as the historic San Siro will enter a transformation process.
