Liverpool has officially confirmed the squad numbers for the 2025/26 season, including seven new signings who joined the club this summer, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

German star Florian Wirtz has taken the number 7 shirt, previously worn by Luis Diaz before his transfer this week to Bayern Munich. This number is historic for "The Reds," and Wirtz is expected to be one of the key names in the new era under coach Arne Slot.

In defense, Milos Kerkez has chosen the number 6 shirt, while Jeremie Frimpong will wear number 30, the same number he had at Bayer Leverkusen.

In the attacking department, Hugo Ekitike will play with number 22, as competition in attack is expected to be fiercer than ever.

In goal, Giorgi Mamardashvili, the goalkeeper from Georgia, has been given the number 25 shirt, Freddie Woodman will wear 28, and young Armin Pecsi will wear 41.

Additionally, two young academy players have changed numbers: Conor Bradley moves from 84 to 12, while Trey Nyoni goes from 98 to 42, a clear signal of their more important roles in the squad this season.

The new Premier League season is approaching, and Liverpool seems to have completed its administrative preparations, while fans are eager to see the new signings on the pitch.
