La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter are ready to send an improved offer for Atalanta star Ademola Lookman, valued at 50 million euros by the Bergamo club, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Talks between the two clubs are expected to continue today, as Inter have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the latest African Ballon d'Or winner. According to Gazzetta's sources, Inter have submitted an offer in the form of a loan with an obligation to buy, while Atalanta are insisting on a permanent transfer for the full amount.

Although it is reported that a deal could be reached for around 45 million euros including bonuses, Inter have yet to make a new concrete offer for the 27-year-old striker.

Meanwhile, despite earlier speculation, there has been no recent contact from Napoli regarding Lookman. Sources close to the situation confirm to Football Italia that Napoli's last interest dates back to June, and there have been no new developments since then.

Lookman, who shone last season with Atalanta and was named African Player of the Year, is seen as a key reinforcement by the Blues in the transfer market.
