Albania's Vllaznia advances in Conference League after thrilling comeback

Vllaznia (Albania) has advanced past the first qualifying round of the Conference League, CE Report quotes ATA.

The Shkodër-based team overturned a 0–1 loss from a week ago at Elbasan Arena by winning 4–2 in the return leg against Daugavpils.

After two matches, Vllaznia qualified for the second round of the Conference League with an aggregate score of 4–3.

The team from Shkodër opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Mensah, but the hosts came back to lead 2–1. By the end of the first half, Vllaznia had equalized.

In the second half, goals from Dodaj in the 74th minute and Kubazi in the 87th sealed qualification for Vllaznia.
